Marli blushed and tossed her head back with a laugh. She slung an arm around my shoulders and pulled me in. Turning her head so her lips brushed my ear, she whispered, “I think you’re cute.”
A smile took over my face and for a moment I forgot that we were just friends and I liked boys. It was a warm feeling, and I basked for a moment.

I opened my mouth to ask what, when she leaned in quickly, catching my lips in hers. I let out a little gasp, a thrill ran through my body, and everything in me lifted up, up, up leaned into the kiss, my lips moving with hers naturally like we were made for this; we were made just for kissing
