So, I haven’t actually watched the new Good Omen’s show yet. I’m excited about the casting, and from the gifs and screenshots I have seen it looks fabulous. 

But here’s the thing. I can’t describe to you guys how disassociating it is to see my dash flooded with love for Good Omens. Headcanons, the main ships, the crack ships, fantheories, fanart, fanfic, cosplay... The normal fandom stuff. 

Previously, I was all of the fandom that I knew. My parent gave me the book as one of their favorites and I have been rereading it since I was little. There was no fandom. I know, I’ve looked. Maybe a basic ship here or a fanfic there, but to see it loud and proud and have it be the buzz online is so crazy for me. 

Anyway, I’m not a nasty person or a gatekeeper. I’m so excited that it is finally getting the attention it deserves! I’m sure once I watch the show I will join you all in celebration. For now, though, it’s really weird.
