This is to affirm reported first appearances, cameos, deaths, origins and the like that may designate a book as a #keycomic #comicbookkey Unless you’ve been locked in the bowels (yuk) of the Batcave you’ve probably have searched, scoured, preordered, overpaid, pulled, found, or have been left wanting - Batman issue 89 for the past 48 hours or more. Well I’m here to say that this book indeed holds a bunch of cameos, origins, and first appearances. You get two decent #1stcameoappearances of Punchline however, her name is not mentioned. There has been a little hate and some disappointment surrounding her appearances as her profiled bottom jaw is about the only reveal. Much better than Eddie Brock’s recently discovered new #firstcameoapoearance of his hand in Web of Spider-Man #18. Next we receive the potential 1st appearance of The Designer, as we are favored to a full reveal of the character and his name is spoken, with one additional panel of him/her from the waist up. These two appearances are from security cameras within the #riddlers den, so these aren’t of the actual character being present. Therefore, some call this a 1st cameo appearance. Next, and I may be wrong, we get the first mention and first appearance of The Batspawn. This is a mechanized swarm of bat drones that Lucius releases to “slow down”, Deathstroke. Lastly, we also get quick origin stories for #gunsmith and #mrteeth.
