“Oh, Zack! Do you need help?” Naminé asked eagerly when she walked in on the black-haired SOLDIER wrapping presents.
“Sure! Do you wanna pick the paper for my next present? It’s for Aerith.” He grinned happily at her and held up a somewhat nondescript box; she had no idea what was inside beyond vaguely guessing.
“Okay!” she chirped, sitting down next to him and looking through the rolls of wrapping paper.
-Falls asleep in here.-
Tries her best not to laugh as she pulls out a blanket and lays it down on him. Then she heads off to her own bedroom to get some sleep herself.

23. our characters waking up together
The harsh winds and temperatures often made it hard for one to go home at night. In such the case, Aqua was never afraid to let a friend or two spend the night. The last thing she wanted was to let one of her friends become sick because she forced them out into the cold.
However, neither one of them was waking up the next morning in the comfort of a bed. Rather, the two of them were sat on the floor, leaning back against the couch, with Aqua's head on Zack's shoulder and Zack's head resting on Aqua's. They had gotten into some conversation or another and had gotten so wrapped up in it that they had stayed up half the night and at some point dozed off.
Bright light shone from the window onto sleepy faces, waking them both. Reluctantly they opened their eyes to a new day, looked around the room confusedly then looked back at each other.
Admittedly, Aqua's face went a little red but they both laughed it off quite easily.
