Asian Games 2018: Bajrang bags first Gold medal for India.

Bajrang has done well in the 65 kg category and giving India first gold medal in Asian Games 2018.

In the 18th Asian Games, wrestler Bajrang Poonia has given India the first gold medal. On Sunday, the first day of the Games, he beat Japan's Takatani Daiichi 3-1, (11-8) in the men's 65kg freestyle event. In the semi-finals, Bajrang defeated Batmangalai Batchulun of Mongolia by 10-0 and entered the finals. Both the wrestlers got a strong fight, but in the end, Bajirang Poonia won the Gold medal. In the first match, Bajrang beat Uzbekistan's wrestler Sirojuddin Khasanov 13-3 in his first match to reach the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals, he defeated Fazve Abdulkasim of Tajikistan by 12-2 and entered first four. He defeated Mongolia's Batgannai Batchulun by 10-0 and finished the final. To reach the Gold Medal 24-year-old Poonia, beat each and every opponent strongly. No wrestler could stand up to his stakes. The role of his smartphone has been very important in the repercussion of this zealous performance. He remained busy with his smartphones for hours. For the sake of the phone, he left his practice many times. He watched videos of the world's biggest wrestlers on his smartphones. He kept an eye on their every aspect, due to which he got help in his preparation. Bajrang Poonia is counted among the big wrestlers in the country. The country has great expectations of them. He had won the bronze medal in the 2013 World Championships. Bajrang won the gold medal in the 2018 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. He bet on the silver medal in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. Apart from this, he won a gold, a silver and two bronze medal in the Asian Championships. In the Commonwealth Championships, he has won the gold medal twice. Bajrang, who lives in Jhajjar district of Haryana, gets a wrestling legacy. His father Balwan Poonia was a renowned wrestler of his time. But poverty did not allow his careers to grow ahead. Something similar happened with Bajrang. Bajrang's father did not have the money to feed ghee to his son. For this, they started running bicycles by saving the bus's rent. He used to save money, he used to spend on the son's food. Passing through such circumstances, Bajrang illuminated his name in the country and abroad.
