Birds Of A Feather
Walking through the abyss, the voiceless void of Limbo, she hums a familiar tune, it was our song and I smile at it. Her light shines brightly beside my own as we aimlessly wander. "16 years is a new record for us", I speak, her humming stopping immedietly. "I know, even more wonderous was that it happened dispite such distance", she replies, tilting her head curiously. "It's strange isn't it? How it all falls in place over and over, no matter where we go or who we are, It seems to bring us back". I stop walking, sighing. "Do... Do you ever worry? I mean, what if we never meet in the next run through?", she asks with a small voice, her fear apparent though she tries to hide it. "I don't, if we were ever meant to be separated for another lifetime, we wouldn't be here with each other every time, would we? Even if I die before we next meet, I'll ait here for you". "But you'll go mad in this place!", she cries. "Go mad? I'm already mad, my love". I take her hand, the resonance of energy breaks the void, the light of us both pulsing through and keeping it at bay as we moved effortlessly towards Earth again. "I've been mad since my existence began, I've been madly in love with yours", I whisper, smiling as we let go of each others hands. "I'll see you soon, my love".
