Jeremiah 9:24 Let's do that this week: let's glory in our understanding of the Lord, the God who delights in exercising lovingkindness, judgement and righteousness in our world. The God of Hope, the God of Peace, the Good Father, the Comforter, the Joyous One, the Faithful Friend--He is ours to pursue and understand. We can come boldly before His throne to get to know Him better. SO PRAY to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest. (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9:38‬ ‭AMP‬‬) Sometimes that's what it feels like, right? Being forced out of our comfort and thrust into uncomfortable situations. But honestly, if it's what His Kingdom needs, we need to co-labor with Him and do it! Open up yourself. Smile at that stranger, start that conversation, have those people over to your (messy) house, tell the next person you see what God has done in your life. Set your sights on the realities of heaven. Your help comes from the hills. Your savior is coming. That stress? That anxiety? That irrational weight or burden or feeling you can't seem to shake? Keep taking it to His throne. Lay it at the foot of the cross, every minute if that's what it takes. Keep your eyes on the realities of heaven. My prayer today: You are my Bread of Life, Lord. You sustain me. You have grace for me when I don't have it for myself. You have created me to be Your powerful daughter, royalty! I am not helpless, I am not a victim of my circumstances, I am not an orphan. You are my good, good Father! I have found where I belong: in the presence of my God, my King, my Father. Help me live with a "holy more" perspective. // When you sleep in and throw off your whole morning (or maybe you have some littles that haven't given you space to plan or sleep in in ages) God's grace is sufficient. God unearthed some deep things in me this week. Rest makes room for you to breathe and sometimes in the breathing, you realize you've been gasping for air. God pointed out some areas where I've been in control instead of letting Him lead. And it's not an easy fix, you know? It's learning how to breathe underwater--and realizing you can't panic and try to force in your own oxygen--you've got to inhale that liquid grace and it change you. Here's to being changed this fall. To giving up control and letting Him lead us out upon the waters, because His grace abounds in the depths. #firstlovefall
