I finally decided that I’m gonna make my own album without the help of a band. I feel confident enough in my playing of all the instruments to do so after years of practice and inner turmoil. 

I always tried to not be the control freak, but no one could bring out the expression in the songs that I knew had the potential to be there. I didn’t want them altered cause I spent hours meticulously scrutinizing it down to the last strum of the strings. 

It’s the culmination of feelings from my past decade of songwriting but mostly the expression of duality between hating and loving where you come from. Always wanting to leave, but looking at everyone around you and understanding why it is that they stay and all the pain/joy that this fact entails.

This is a collection of songs from my previous 4 years. This is my art. Starting with the oldest idea mixed with recordings from my favorite meditative place on the coast of Lake Michigan.
