Colostrum
Colostrum, usually considered as the "first milk", produced during late pregnancy of cow (and other mammals), recently got some attention in the fitness industry for its properties (immune system and weight gain in newborns).
Sorry, wrong image. Due the nature of this secretion, it is vital to many newborns as it helps the development of the immune system and also faster weigh gain. Still, there isn´t much application for grown humans, but there are still people searching for it as if there was any benefit compared to whey protein, milk, etc. Side Effects Only if you have intolerance to lactose, since it is found on milk. Weight Gain, Performance and Fat Loss Effects were similar to whey protein or other proteins. There is no additional benefit to supplement with colostrum over other protein sources. No extra weight gain, performance or fat loss.
