3) what iconography (symbols/images/motifs/etc.) do you associate with your character and why? how do you portray this in your writing?
ok, this reply is gonna be a mess but here we go---
funnily enough, obi-wan is actually one of the characters i use LESS imagery for, if i compare him to my previous muses. i tend to use very strong iconography for my ocs, for an example, but it wanes in my writing of his muse, and it makes me wonder exactly why is that -- worrisome, in my personal opinion, aha.
i do however associate him to light (why is that i wonder---) and self-sacrifice (in many senses, if you sit down and see how much he has lost for what he was raised for/believed in, and how much he felt it and accepted it anyway). small dualities are also often spoken of: i like to put the man and the jedi obi-wan side by side for comparison, mostly because the code as it is... let us be frank, quite cruel regarding any emotional aspects of any being, humans VERY included, but that also can be put together with the self-sacrificing aspect i like to speak of in my writing.
