New comms setup: Baofeng UV-5R + Extended Battery + Extended Antenna + Nexus U94 PTT + Comtac II’s. pretty stoked to give this setup a go after years of using shitty Motorola Talkabouts and Chinese PRC148 knockoffs. It should provide me with at least a 3km range and upto 12 hours of battery life, which fits my needs perfectly. Standby for a review after I get to test the system out.
