RE : ACTIVITY POLICY ! following some extremely productive conversation with the members of the group , i’ve decided to make a modification to the activity policy. unfollowing of roles will happen after four days of activity in place of the previous three day rule. this rule really exists only if you haven’t communicated with me about what’s going on with you if you need a bit of leniency ! i’m a very understanding lil bean. hopefully this makes current members & future applicants a bit more comfortable. ! i will re-conduct activity checks tomorrow ( EDIT : sunday morning , because i’ll be out of town tomorrow ) instead of the one that was conducted to day to adhere to this change in policy.
RE : ‘CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM’ & OPINIONS ! as a solo admin , i definitely rely on the feedback of my members and applicants in order to see what is working as a group , and what isn’t. what doesn’t help me as an admin , is getting anonymous messages and opinions that i cannot address privately. with constructive criticisms and complaints that come from an anonymous source . there’s extreme potential to cause stress to the admin , as well as the members if i need to address it publicly. i don’t want to incriminate people for a problem that might not be theirs in the first place. also , it’s really hard to determine what is coming from an outside source , and what is coming from the interior and definitely needs to be addressed group wide. therefore , all criticism and opinions should really be coming from off anon. i promise i’m not going to judge you for having an issue or voicing your opinions -- i need that feedback , but i also need to be able to handle it a little less publicly unless it needs to be.
