14, 50, and 100
14. My favourite time of day is the Gloaming, dusk as it transitions to twilight into darkness. When the sky is purple and the fire flies are just starting to appear, when the world is just beginning to wind down.
50. I would rather lie by a lake than hike a mountain. I spent the majority of my childhood living on or near a lake. I love the sound of the water lapping at the shore, and the sound of distant boat motors buzzing in the distance, even the smell of lakes. Lakes feel like home, lakes feel like comfort, like a soft breeze, like I could live right there on the shore and never want for anything more. And I love to fly fish.
100. Do I love myself? No, but I’m finally at a point in my life where I’m learning to, which is a huge step for me. I’ll get there, I’m determined and I have great support, but everything worth doing is difficult and takes time.
