#fish pouch

kept seeing those fish pouches or quilted big fish pillows so i decided i needed to make one. Witness the Trouch (trout pouch)

it came out a lot bigger than intended but i wanted to use up that greenish stripe fabric scrap i had. all of this is just quilting cotton scraps from my stash plus some nice maroon buttons. i might go back and add a line of topstitching around the drawstring to hold its shape better though

I think the soy fish pouch might do well here

This is what happens in my brain when I'm on holiday. Just sat down and started knitting a little fish pouch looking like a soy fishy.

He currently hangs from our floor lamp and I love him. Every time I see him I'm instantly delighted.

Currently working on version 2 with duplicate stitched details instead of my bastardised intarsia knitting with awful tension. Do I know how to correctly do patterns in duplicate stitch? No, but I'll try it anyway.

Version 2 will become a little dice pouch for my partner, so I could make the opening more accurate ie smaller. Body shape is also much better already.

Knitted a fish pouch to hang up my phone when I’m home. It helped me stay off social media all May, and my head felt clearer. Evidently I’m back online, but the fish pouch does work when I use it!

I've got almost 20 different projects ongoing, a good portion of them even being time sensitive!

So obviously I spent tonight working on None Of Them but at least I have this neat pouch to Hold Items for me
