Early May BWCA Solo Trip | Cold Windy and Tough Fishing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6IOkuGlPOI Early May in the Boundary Waters can be beautiful, but it can also be cold, windy, and challenging. On this solo BWCA canoe fishing trip, I set out in search of walleyes and smallmouth bass, only to be met with tough conditions and difficult fishing for most of the journey. For three days, I battled the wind, explored new water, and kept searching for fish despite long stretches without success. While the fishing wasn't easy, the experience reminded me that some of the most memorable wilderness trips aren't measured by the number of fish caught, but by the challenges overcome along the way. If you enjoy BWCA canoe trips, wilderness camping, fishing adventures, and honest outdoor experiences, I hope you'll enjoy coming along for the journey. #BWCA #BoundaryWaters #CanoeCamping #SoloCamping #FishingAdventure via Crazy Good Fishing Adventures https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZwOaH1J-8iu9agISrh4K8g June 5, 2026 at 11:30PM
BWCA Walleye Fishing in a Motor Boat on Basswood Lake
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr-BuydfGjg BWCA walleye fishing on Basswood Lake with a motor boat made for an incredible day in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. After portaging our boat into the BWCA using a motor permit, we caught nonstop walleyes and cooked an amazing shore lunch in the Minnesota wilderness. This trip into the BWCA was one to remember. We traveled into Basswood Lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness with a small motor boat in search of spring walleyes — and the fishing did not disappoint. After portaging the boat into the BWCA and navigating the motor permit process, we spent the day catching walleyes of all sizes on one of Minnesota’s most legendary fishing lakes. Along the way we share the full experience of fishing Basswood Lake in the BWCA, including the boat portage, wilderness travel, nonstop walleye action, beautiful scenery, and an incredible shore lunch cooked right on the rocks in canoe country. If you enjoy BWCA fishing, Boundary Waters adventures, Minnesota walleye fishing, backcountry camping, canoe country travel, and wilderness shore lunches, this is a trip you’ll enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyJlkzv0jes 3 days. 3 species. It all came down to the final cast. In this Florida inshore fishing challenge, my son and I go head-to-head targeting an inshore slam in Crystal River—snook, redfish, and speckled sea trout. Biggest fish in each species wins the point, and the competition goes back and forth until the very end. Along the way, we break down tactics, conditions, and what it takes to catch these inshore species, with help from a local guide. If you're planning a Florida fishing trip or chasing your own inshore slam, this should give you a solid look at what to expect. 📍 Location: Crystal River, Florida 🎣 Target Species: Snook, Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout If you enjoy fishing challenges, travel fishing, and real on-the-water action, subscribe for more. #floridafishing #inshorefishing #snookfishing #redfishing #seatrout #floridainshorefishing via Crazy Good Fishing https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZwOaH1J-8iu9agISrh4K8g April 25, 2026 at 04:00AM

I Fished a Hidden Amazon Lagoon | Untouched Colombia Peacock Bass Fishing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA_ooQR-LXY I fished an untouched Amazon lagoon deep in the Colombian jungle. We pushed through thick brush to find a hidden peacock bass honey hole that has likely never seen a lure. WATCH THE FULL 4-DAY EXPEDITION: [https://youtu.be/y-8OSaXDD5g] This is a shorter, high-intensity cut of our Day 3 journey into the Orinoco river basin. While the full documentary (linked above) shows the entire 4-day trek, this specific lagoon was so chaotic it deserved its own spotlight. In just a few hours, I landed multiple double-digit peacock bass, including a 17lb giant. I traveled over 4,000 miles to the Vichada region of Colombia deep in the Amazon jungle hoping to catch a monster peacock bass. The first two days were okay, but it was the third day when things got crazy! Our guide, from Fish Colombia, suggested we try a lagoon that he had seen on a map, but had never fished before. Looking for an opportunity and open to adventure, we agreed. Best decision of the trip!!! Fishing the Orinoco Basin, we encounter massive three-bar peacock bass (Cichla temensis)—also known as tucunaré açu or speckled peacock bass.
