Today on Fishing With John, the unprecedented occurred. While the rules were established long ago and are well known, I’ll repeat them here. No one goes in until 5 are caught. No one catches more than the captain (a.k.a. John, Daddy, the experienced fisherman, etc.) But rules were made to be broken. Early on this beautiful cool morning as the sun was just coming up, Passenger Sharon swung high and caught the first fish, only to quickly follow with a second. Bragging may have occurred. It wasn’t until Sharon’s 3rd (yes, 3rd) fish that John righted himself and caught his own. Continuing to troll the St.John’s river, fish kept biting and the numbers rose. Now Sharon had 5 and John had 2?! The world shook— red was black, right was wrong! Cats and dogs living together! Finally, after seeing some cows standing by the water, the numbers increased . (Yes, this is a thing.) But, the final tally —for Captain John decided that there were already too many fish to clean—fell to this: John-5, Sharon-7. *Sharon faints dead away* 😜#fishingwithjohn #thefamilythatfishestogethereatswelltogether #fishing #stjohnsriver #mydadisagreatfisherman #itotallydrovetheboatandwelived #frickinawesome
