so today is going to be my busiest in a while and i am stressing over my deadlines but i almost forgot to feed blackie this morning and he was sitting at the top of the tank expectedly. his eyes said “mother why have you wronged me in such a cruel and unusual way?” (he gets fed at around 7-8 am but it is 9:30 am). once he was fed he was happily swimming around the tank ignoring the fact that he was staring daggers at me when i walked back in the room from my zoom meeting. i love you too blackie.
