The bug things on your glass are limpets they’re harmless

The bug things definitely have legs - I can see them when they are crawling across the leaves, swimming, or walking over and into the gravel. That would eliminate limpets as a suspect, no?

I tried getting a clear close-up of one today; they are smaller than baby shrimps, and most have a striped or marbled pattern like in the pic. They mostly congregate in the gravel although I see them all over my tank nowadays. What does anyone else think?

In high school FFA class we set out traps for pigeons then killed them by hand, plucked them and filleted for jerky. I’m not even in like a small rural town

Seriously though, rosies are AMAZING snakes and wonderfully easy keepers. They’re actually my go-to recommendation for a keeper who’s never had a reptile before and wants to get started!

How old is your rosy boa?

y’know I can’t say for sure really... I won him at a reptile show raffle, and when we talked to the breeder he just sort of mentioned him as being an adult breeder who he had successfully paired several times. I’ve since had him for about 8-9 years. So he could be anywhere from 13-20 for all I know haha.

Don’t use it on cacti/succulents tho. More for the fast growing boys

Idk that depends on time of year. In summer outside in full sun, lots of succulents are pretty fast growing and could take some fertilizer. Many houseplants are even slower growing that succulents.

Fish water is going to be a veryyyyy weak fertilizer if you’re doing water changes often enough and not overstocking your tanks.
