Y'know, I was scrolling through flower meanings and I snorted at "victory in battle". Because Thorin'd be the type to create displays with that kind of theme and then maybe hesitate when little old ladies ask him if it'd be appropriate to give them to their grandchildren

Awwww yeah he'd go for that sort of theme, yeah! And Thorin's definitely a softie when it comes to the elderly--- except for Gandalf, probably. That one's just a troublemaker lmao.

If he were to change his display so that the shop would look more welcoming, he'd probably ask Bilbo for some expertise-- and when i say he'd ask, he'll just do whatever Bilbo says because he trust his judgement that it'll make it look better.
