Sorry. Immediately thought of Valens and Reid. Like, he’s never had anyone to do that with but when they’re free, Reid’s already enjoying the sun and lying in the grass, and Valens comes up next to her and lays with her, holding hands and that’s the most at peace he’s been in, like…200 years of some shit. (After she gets up he also meticulously gets all the grass out of her hair and she can’t help but be reminded of birds preening.)
