Just looking at the fonts that come with my edition of OpenOffice, I'm pretty into Engravers MT. I wouldn't write a whole book in it or anything, but it adds a touch of class without being ostentatious if you're doing labeling or signage. 

Speed. I was put on several amphetamine derivatives when I was younger for what my doctors thought was ADD, and it's just nasty stuff. The twitching, the racing thoughts, the weird feeling, the inability to want to eat, the need to pick stuff off your body, the inability to sleep...unless you're a long-haul trucker or something, why the fuck would you ever do speed? 

I really like SomethingAwful.com. They have a stable of writers with varied voices and deft senses of humor, and a lot of their contributors have gone on to do some pretty accomplished projects. While I don't look at the Frontpage regularly, there are articles that I go back and read periodically and still laugh until I drool at. The forums are also pretty great, and the atmosphere there has matured immensely since their inception. I particularly like Goons with Spoons, which is a cooking forum, since it kinda taught me to cook and to care about food.
