Um, so I had a very successful Chewbacchus march with the Leijorettes, the co-ed sub-crewe of majorettes honoring Princess Leia of Alderaan. In case you are wondering, 60 women wearing taps and dancing together sounds amazing and will give your life meaning.
But I danced into a pothole on a not-particularly-well-lit street and twisted my ankle real good. It hit the dirt, I felt a crunch, the whole deal. But it was just a sprain. I was able to finish the parade without much issue, but I knew the thing would kill if I stopped moving (learned that from roller derby). Thankfully the car was parked on the route, so Dale and I just jumped in and drove to get K. and D. who were nearby. We went home to shower and rest, and an angel bought me a sandwich from Finn McCool's. Bummer: i lost my watch-style fitbit on the route.
What I'm saying is, I haven't been running because I sprained my ankle. But that's about to start up again. Also, I told FitBit what happened, and they sent me a new watch!
