The legislation extending government funding through Nov. 21 is expected to pass Senate next week
The House is continuing to pass necessary bills. In addition to many of the spending bills, the lower chamber has sent nearly 200 bills to the Senate where they have been blocked from any consideration. This one will have to pass in order to avoid a shutdown as we now have only 10 days left in Fiscal Year 2019.
