MR: i got offered actually a few different, i don't know if it was jobs, in the nhl with some teams, but just not fully committed to that just yet. Q: so is that what you see yourself doing in the future, kind of getting back in the game at some point? MR: yeah, yeah to be honest i'm not really sure. i've thought about it, there's times when i started watching hockey and think i'd be, you know, decent at some of the jobs and thinking that you can do it. but then like you think of how much work and travel and time it is to do, so i don't think it's something that you can just like, you know, tiptoe into. i think if you do it, you have to like really do it. so we'll see. we have no kids at the moment, so we have some time... it's not something that you could just like, 'oh yeah i'll do this part-time'. from talking to friends that have been scouts, and have worked with some teams, it's a lot of time and definitely a lot of time away from home, especially when you live in kenora. so it's something that you gotta like commit to... i think coaching, i think nowadays would be so tough just because of the amount of video that they watch and it's just like... where you're just sitting, staring at the computer literally all day, i think that would be tough. but if it was like scouting or like somewhere in the front office i think it would be something that i would be a little bit more open to.
