The pyramid shaped colossus of a mountain, which is very difficult to climb, is said to be the most-photographed mountain in the world… If you like to hike and enjoy a fantastic view on the #Matterhorn you should not miss the #FiveLakesWalk which is in a class of its own among hikes in the @zermatt.matterhorn mountains. As the name indicates, you’ll pass five superb mountain lakes out of which three reflect the #Matterhorn. Mountain railways will convey you from #Zermatt to #Blauherd (2571m), the start of this lovely tour. This classic route will take you to #Stellisee, #Grindjisee, #Grünsee, #Moosjiesee, #Leisee before you'll reach #Sunnegga in under three hours. On a warm summer day you should also bring your swimsuit and take a swim in the crystal clear (and icy-cold) #Leisee – a memorable experience for children and adults alike.
