How exactly did the 87 bite happen in your fnaf AU? It's just that, if I understand correctly, fredber has had AI inside of it since its inception. Didn't he somehow try to move the children away from him when a child's head was put in his mouth.

So I’ve thought about this since I both want them animatronics to behave like animatronics that can be possessed or prone to malfunctions and viruses, while also being sentient AI.

With that said, I’ve decided that there are different stages and animatronic can be in

Sentient Mode: The animatronic has full autonomy and thought.

-Viruses can still affect them. Malfunctions are minimal. Possessions are possible but control is limited

Animatronic Mode: The animatronic’s AI goes to sleep while allowing regular functions like moving and talking. So their personality that gives them their sentience is turned off.

- Viruses can still affect them. Malfunctions are more possible. Possessions fully possible and allows full control without the AI recognizing what’s happening

Suit Mode for the Springlocks: The animatronic’s AI goes to sleep while allowing regular functions, only now they’re simply a wearable costume

-Malfunctions are ENTIRELY possible and possession is limited but possible

The animatronic mode will retain knowledge of events while asleep unless there is tampering, viruses, or spirits

Suit mode will not retain any knowledge
