Fizo Omar ikrar derma organ
PUTRAJAYA, 28 Mac:

Five minutes with Fizo Omar
WAN Hafizol Wan Omar, better known as Fizo Omar, is 29 years old and a former footballer who is now an actor-cum-businessman.
Hailing from Kota Baru in Kelantan, he studied civil engineering at a local tertiary institute and is married to the founder of Fareeda hijab brand Mawar Abdul Karim.
Q: Are you acting full-time?
A: I started with acting but now I only commit to acting schedules once in a while. I also have a family now so I have more commitments. I do a lot of emceeing and business talks. But a lot of my time is spent on my business venture, which is The Hot Burger.
Q: Can you elaborate on The Hot Burger business?
A: I’m the founder and owner of The Hot Burger. It is a business opportunity for youths who want to start a small business where they make and sell burgers at stalls. Those interested are guided on the business every step of the way till they become successful. Those interested are required to attend courses on the burger-making process as well as managing the business. It’s doing well and now there are 150 burger stalls in Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Kelantan.
Q: Do you intend to give up acting to concentrate on your business?
A: I love acting. It’s my passion and I used to have back-to-back schedules for film and television series shoots. As my business takes up most of my time, I concentrate on emceeing since it’s not too demanding.
Q: You started out in television dramas. Do you get a lot of offer to act in feature films?
A: I do. I have acted in 10 films, among them Kongsi, Minyak Dagu and Cinderella. I have completed two films that’s going to screen early next year. They are Isyarat Cinta and Romeo Kota.
Q: Do you find any difference between acting for television and film? Which do you prefer?
A: Both are okay for me. But films have larger sets and bigger costs. That’s why I get really nervous when acting in films because it can eat into production costs for several takes of scenes. Film reels are expensive and the producer will get very angry when it gets wasted. But with digital video cameras, the cost of a film can be similar to television productions.
Q: What do you like to do during your spare time?
A: I love playing football. I used to represent Kelantan as a part of the Under-16 football team. I still do play, and I have my own football team called the Celebrity Team, playing a lot of friendlies. I also love motorsports especially high-powered motorcycles. I would go to Sepang race circuit once in a while to ride the big bikes.
Q: Since you love the camera and being in the limelight, have you ever tried modelling?
A: I did. But it was too long ago and I didn’t intend to stay long in the business. I just tried it out for fun.
Q: What is your advice to young people who aspire to do well in everything they set out to do?
A: To be successful at a young age, one must make sacrifices. Success doesn’t come overnight or in a neat little package. I’m here today because I sacrificed my teenage years. I practiced hard to be a footballer, looked for opportunities to work whenever possible and didn’t have time to hang-out with friends. But it’s worth it.

Actor Fizo Omar distributes free burgers
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8, 2014:
While McDonald’s had earlier denied they were distributing free burgers after a nationwide 24-hour boycott was called today against the fast food outlet, local actor and entrepreneur Fizo Omar, owner of Hot Burger announced that he would be distributing free burgers.
Fizo or his real name, Wan Hafizol Wan Omar, said the initiative which started out around the Wangsa Maju mosque area today, will later be extended to other Hot Burger stalls in other areas.
“This is one of my charity initiatives which is also to collect donations to be channelled to the Gaza fund.
“I was thinking that any little bit will help the Palestinians,” he said.
News about the free burger giveaway was made on his Facebook page today.
The news was received positivity and supported by the public.
A social media user, Mdzalina Salleh said this opportunity, referring to the calls to boycott Israeli-linked products, should be utilised by local entrepreneurs to put forth local products.
Another social media user, Ahmad Aminuddin said what Fizo was doing was a noble effort to help the people of Palestine.
“This is the time to bring up the products of Malaysians, let’s continue boycotting,” he wrote.

Fizo Omar edar burger percuma
KUALA LUMPUR, 8 Ogos:
“Inilah masa kebangkitan produk anak Malaysia, ayuh teruskan memboikot,” tulisnya.
