oh hey there! i have a funny story for all of you:
we were like five minutes into the show when the three women next to me were like "where's josh" "there he is" "which one" etc, right? and so after a minute the girl closest to me leans over and says,
"sorry if we're a little loud! josh is our cousin."
so i immediately (and quietly) burst out with "oh my god I love josh I follow his insta he's so talented!!" AND SHE GOT SO EXCITED!!!
then, during intermission, she asks me, "hey! wanna send josh a snapchat with me?"
SO OF COUSE I ACCEPT and so we took a pic together and she sent it to josh
when I came back to the bathroom she showed me his response which was that he screenshotted it and answered with "HAHAHAHA OMG" all caps lmao
so then the show ends and she's like "oh I gotta get you to meet him" and it turns out he has a shit ton of family there that night (he's from MA!!! which I didn't know!!!)
then she says, "in case we don't see him, what's your name so I can make him follow you on Instagram!!" so of Course I tell her and she does a legit pinky promise to make sure she'll get him to follow :')
then finally we do get to the stagedoor (small little crowd, got reeeeally excited when josh came put lmfao)! everyone was So nice and the two main father figure guys (joey's actual father in the show and the mafia man™) were so personal and funny!! gah
and so josh's cousin sees me and immediately comes over and is like "come on come on he's right here omg" and so aaaa yeah I meet josh and he's really excited and nice and signs my playbill!!
then a little after my friend is like "dude you gotta get a picture omfg come on" so I go back over and am like "hey josh......" and whatever
cousin gets really excited again, offers to even take the picture, but my friend takes it haha
anyway tl;dr josh burrage's cousin sat next to me during a Bronx tale and got me to meet him tbh so she's a literal angel
