This is a story of growth 🌱 I lived a lot of day wanting more. 🌿 I felt what I was doing and the direction I was in was wrong. I moved. A lot. And tried to find something in a new place that I couldn’t fill. 🌿 I worked awful hours. Like 3am-8pm between 2 jobs. When people complained about their 9-5 I wanted to laugh.🌿 Then I got a 9-5, a step up in my book. I was thankful to get up at 5am, to take the bus 90 minutes downtown. I was thankful for a “well paying” job. But then the feeling came back. The feeling of “Rach, this is the wrong direction.” I became an expert at finding places in the building I could cry alone in, get my shit together and get back to work. I was working myself to death, only taking a 30 minute break for lunch. And I hated the person I was becoming. A toxic day to day Rut I was unable to get out of.🌿 I have had plenty of Day ones. First day of my bachelors degree, first day of my post bacc, first day of community college. Or day ones in work. First day at my studio job, first day at a medical office, first day in retail. But the first day that changed my life? That held me when I stepped away from my 9-5. Was day one of arbonne. Of starting my own business. And of fulfilling my purpose. 🌿 Now instead of moving to fill a hole, I get to stay in the same place and travel around. I get to work from home, from the coffee shop, from the plane, from campus.
