I find it crazy how quickly the II community will hate any sort of canon ship. When payjay became canon it was fine for a while but now that season 4 is going on it's suddenly fanservice slop. The people saying it's fanservice and slop and that it doesn't make any sense or they don't work as a couple clearly don't know how relationships work. Paper and OJ haters are so quick to point out anything and everything that happens and 90% of the time it's literally nothing.

In S4 EP4 when OJ was reading off the votes and took out the one with Paper's name on it that POPPY put in there and was removed because they SPUN THE WHEEL literally every payjay hater IMMEDIATELY were on their asses and complaining about it. HE LITERALLY DIDN'T BREAK ANY RULES. They just automatically assumed he did!

Paper and OJ AREN'T fanservice they're literally a fucking couple and in case you don't know newly formed couples TEND TO BE AROUND EACHOTHER A LOT.. but once again I doubt they've even heard of a healthy relationship, to them payjay is just ceo x y/n even though basically everything points to the exact opposite.

I don't get people who call Loosesheet (Paper x Looseleaf/EP) selfcest. Alters aren't different versions of their host, they're their own people. Paper and Looseleaf are two different people regardless if they look similar or not and this is coming from someone who IS a system. 💔

People hating on the S1 remaster and S4 are sooo annoying imo. S1R yap: The main thing I've been seeing with people hating on the season one remastered episodes is that they've been changing lines. I get it's annoying and yeah there are a few lines that I miss but you also have to understand that not everything has to stay the exact same. If it happens to be your favorite line that was changed it shouldn't matter. It's not going to be done the exact same way as season one and I actually think it's better like that. A few scenes I can think of are the "crossing the border" joke and the "get the hell out of my boat" thing. Sure, you can miss the og lines.. but if you miss the og lines then go WATCH the og, it isn't that hard. It especially made me mad when people started complaining about the newest remastered episode and how EP / Looseleaf was "watered down" and that it's a "cocomelon ahh scene made for toddlers".. You do realize it was made so DID wouldn't be demonized, right? The whole reason behind that scene being changed was because it gave horrible DID representation and since most people watching it are children THAT is going to be their first thoughts and understandings on DID. It shouldn't be "Haha evil bad guy in Paper's mind got smashed by a piano that's funny". It's crazy how people can even think that. S4 yap: 99.99999% of people complaining about season 4 are saying that it wasn't necessary and it should've just stopped after season 2 or that it's all fanservice. I want to understand where they get that from but they really just pull it out of thin air atp. I get that season 2 could've been a good ending but there were also so many more things that could've been explored which is why I think it's good that there's a season 4! While I do wish the season could've been more of a slice of life I'm just glad that there is another season where we can see characters work through their problems and heal. It's fun to see new things happen and see them work through it in this new world they've discovered with no instant snap back into life if something bad happens. Most of the time nothing happening is fanservice, it's just showing how things work. I find it weird how people are getting annoyed at characters like Lightbulb, Paintbrush, Yin-Yang, Knife, and all these other characters less screen time compared to others like Paper that are getting more screentime. Paper was ONLY in season 1. Season 2 doesn't even count because he wasn't even competing and he was only briefly shown in episodes while others like Lightbulb, Paintbrush, and Yin-Yang were either shown a lot during season 2 or season 3 or were on multiple seasons which were much more recent compared to season 1. I wish people would just let characters have even a SLIGHT spotlight during seasons without it being considered fanservice or unnecessary. Can you tell I like II yet lol?
