Kiki’s F*kn Around thoughts so far:

- I like it more and more every time I listen to it (which was on repeat on the drive to work)

- the moan/groan/grunt/growl thing he does after every time he says ‘Whatchu think’ is just make you bite your lip, should be illegal amazing *chefs kiss*

- my favourite parts (other than the above noise) are the times he chuckles when saying ‘Whatchu think’

- As sometimes happens with his music there are two moments that cause my brain to hurt because they don’t fit the rhythm I expect:

1. ‘I still can’t believe I’m looking through your pictures’ is either the wrong amount of syllables for the moment or said in just the wrong cadence that my brain hurts

2. The slide back into the chorus after the bridge (? I don’t know much about musical structure - the slower part near the end) is just a beat too long. I expect the beat to drop and it doesn’t when I think it should.

- Runnin Around is just as good but I don’t know if it’s just me but every time he says ‘runnin’ it sounds like ‘fuckin’ anyway

Isn’t kind of weird to think folklore, evermore, and however many singles Darren puts out probably wouldn’t exist if the world hadn’t shut down? That’s wild to me.

Is anyone else paying attention to the amount of streams Darren's new song is getting on Spotify? I looked yesterday and then today and it's up by so many streams, nearly 100,000 i believe! I just find that so exciting! F*kn Around is just so much fun, it deserves to be put in all the playlists! I left the house today, (risky, i live in ontario, yikes) and I played it so loud in the car and it was so fun! You deserve all of the success Darren! It's a great song!
