hi all ! My first post is a bit of a late one but I figured I’d post it anyways for next year people who might be curious ! I found a ad for a upcoming event in Daytona Beach listed as the Halifax Art Festival. I figured I’d give it a shot. I was a art major in college and I’m always up for anything art related. I’ve been pondering about making some crafts and entering them in myself. The festival is located on Beach Street, between Orange Avenue and Bay Street, in downtown Daytona Beach. From I-95, exit SR 92 International Speedway; head east until you see a large bridge. Do not go over. This is where the festival is located – west side of Halifax River. (Just so you know to keep a eye out for it next year !)
There’s not only plenty of art for sale but some activities for the little ones as well! I advise to bring some cash with you for the food trucks if you want something to eat while walking up and down the street. If not there are plenty of ATMS around. If you have pups- they ARE allowed to walk with you down the street ! Just be mindful to watch them around the artist’s booths. I made sure not to take too many photos of the booths themselves to respect the artist’s work.
Just a quick mention we popped in Rhokkoh’s- it’s a little yogurt shop & they do sell some GF/Gluten Free stuff there ! My boyfriend was super pleased that he could get a mango ice cream with fruit ! You can add a ton of toppings and flavors to the mix so it’s great for people like my boyfriend who have to be mindful to that sort of thing! It’s located at the end of Beach Street ! <3 Stay sassy
