Boomtown by The District Attorneys
The District Attorneys released their first full-length album in April of this year, and shortly after, they took home Best Album Artwork and Best Album for "Slowburner" as well as Artist of the Year from the 2012 Flagpole Music Awards in Athens.
(Big congratulations to them on those honors!)
They're currently touring, so you'll be able to catch them in Athens on August 14th at the Georgia Theatre Rooftop Party, in Auburn, Alabama on August 17th at Bloodhound, and in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the Green Bar on August 18th. They'll be back in Atlanta at Smith's Olde Bar on September 14th.
You can also purchase "Slowburner" on Bandcamp, iTunes, or ThisIsAmericanMusic and see what all the fuss is about. They've also got two homemade EP's available for download for free.
