It was a WinterShieldShock pairing (Darcy Lewis x Bucky x Steve Rogers). I love that OT3. It started out well written. Then Darcy makes this decision that has so many obvious flaws in it that it was clear the author needed me to just accept the non logic to make the story work. Without it, (s)he would had to have spent a lot longer getting the three together, and it just...nobody on god’s green earth would agree to do what Darcy was without considering long term emotional complications. Or maybe they would, but I couldn’t buy it for Darcy. Just couldn’t.
I know that was incredibly vague, but I didn’t want to point a finger at that particular story.
