& NYELBERT.
The elf had been lost in though as he pondered the nature of things only he, among his chosen party, actually understood. Not that any of them tended to mind; it kept his sharp tongue in his mouth. There was one among them that cared little for the striking that oft came from him however, the trend carrying on as he realized Ardbert has set a plate in front of him; a rather find looking slab of roasted meat and a hunk of bread. Blinking at it, he realized how long it had been since he’d actually bothered to eat, so consumed in the thoughts of his magery as he’d been. Opening his hand to take the place, he raised a brow at the man, speaking with a reluctant tone. “…thank you.”
Although they had just met for the sake of their mission, Ardbert noticed that the Elf often immersed himself in his thoughts, ignoring what was around him, as if he was concerned about something. It wasn't that it bothered him - he had the right to do what he wanted after all - but it was the first time he had dealt with such a taciturn partner.
So in an attempt to break the ice, the warrior let Lamitt and Cylva talk to each other and approached the man in front of whom he placed a plate.
"Well, you're definitely not a talkative person," said the Hume as he sat in front of Nyelbert, his own plate in front of him. "Is everything all right?"
