Has it been six years already? Wow! Where does the time fly?! Well, first of all.. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And Happy 6th year Anniversary to @blueeyeddynasty‘s Kaiba and my Merina ship as we love to call it, Flameshipping!
At little bit of backstory now!
The quote is from the “The Gift” thread that me and Haylie had with our two special muses. And in that moment, Merina had compared herself and Kaiba to Cinderella and Prince Charming. Cinderella has always been Merina’s favorite Disney Princess because throughout the adversary she faced, she still had big dreams. Like with Merina, her big dream was become a successful theater actress and just like Cinderella... She didn’t expect to meet her Prince Charming, in the form of Seto Kaiba.
So it was only a matter of time to have these two “cosplay” as Cinderella and Prince Charming. And that’s where the AMAZING @sleepyprinceartz comes in!
She was able to bring this loving commission art to life and as you see, Meri and Kaiba are dressed as Cinderella and Prince Kit (Charming) from the 2015 Disney Live Action of Cinderella.
I’m sooo over the moon with this lovely artwork and so happy that our muses celebrated their sixth anniversary together! Their story is not over yet and I’m sure Haylie and myself are excited to explore more of them! >w<
Based on the clip/song track La Valse de L’Amour from Disney’s “Cinderella (2015)” live action movie.
Merina was in the living room, playing the “Cinderella (2015)” soundtrack on the sound system as she was studying her new script. Coincidentally, the play that Domino City Performing Arts that she was going to be involved in was “Cinderella” and she had gotten the lead role as Cinderella. She was already giddy because “Cinderella” had always been her favorite fairy tale and Princess, so she decided to get into the mood by listening to the soundtrack and maybe even watching both the animated Disney film and live action after studying her script and making notes.
She was half-way into her script, making some notes, when her favorite song of all time, “La Valse de L’Amour” began to play. In that moment, a sweet smile appeared on her lips as she took the remote to the stereo and raised the volume on the sound system. Afterwards, she closed her eyes and began to daydream.
She imagined herself in that beautiful and shimmer blue dress, all deck to her nines, arriving at the ball and meeting face to face with the Prince. After they had both curtsy at one another, the Prince ask her for the first dance. In her daydream, Merina said yes, and took the Prince’s hand.
As the dance began, what the blonde performer didn’t know, was that she actually stood up from the couch and began to waltz by herself, still picturing that she was dancing with the Prince. Because of this, she was unaware that someone had arrived home early and made his way over towards the living room and stopped to watch her.
Merina was following the motions of the waltz, moving along with song as she seem to dance gracefully like she’s done this many times before, not ever missing a step. When it came to the first spin, she spun herself, pretending it was the Prince who spun her… But when she came to a stop, she looked up, opening her eyes… Only to suddenly gasp at who she saw.
“Seto, you’re home…!” The blonde performer was now blushing as she spotted Kaiba, who was casually leaning on the door frame, with an amused look on his face.
“H-How long have you’ve been there…?”
Kaiba, still with that amused look on his face, got off the door frame and began to make his way over towards his girlfriend. “Long enough…” Now standing in front Merina, he couldn’t help but find how cute she was when she was all red, after all… He did catch her while she was daydreaming.
“You know, Merina…” He began as gently reach for remote in her hand and press the “Back” button so the song could start over, and then tossed the remote to the couch. “If you’re going to waltz… You need a partner.”
The next thing the brunet CEO did, he offered his hand towards his girlfriend. “May I have this dance, my Princess?”
The blush on Merina’s face seem to deepen when her boyfriend offered his hand, yet the smile that was on her face brighten as she gently held her hand out for him to take. “Yes you may, my Prince Charming~”
Once her slender hand was in his, Kaiba gently pulled Merina closer to him and moved his hand to cradle her waist, while the other hand went behind his back. The blonde performer recognize this and her eyes shine with great delight; he was taking the role, literally, as the Prince and she, as Cinderella.
In that moment, they waltz, Merina completely blown away with her boyfriend with how easily he danced with her. She figured it was because she played the live action movie so many times with him, that Kaiba must’ve figured the dance steps easily; he was so clever!
She found herself giggling as the dance began to reach its climax and he lifted her up into the air, earning a sweet gasp from her as she held onto his shoulders for balance before he placed her down and continued to dance together.
Finally, as the song was reaching its end, Kaiba dipped Merina and brought her back up with such care and gentleness as they both were now face to face and slowly parted. Still dazed, Merina gently curtsy in front of her boyfriend before coming back up and covering her mouth as spurts of giggles came out of her.
“When did you learn that, Seto…?” She finally ask as she lowered her hands, still smiling brightly.
Kaiba merely tapped his forehead, “You can say watching the movie countless times with you has its benefits.”
Merina bursts into more sweet giggles before she ran up to her boyfriend and jumped into his arms, which easily caught her. “You are the best ever, Seto~!” She then pressed her lips towards his, kissing him sweetly.
Kaiba hummed at the kiss, kissing her back for a moment, before breaking the kiss, revealing a grin on his face. “If this is how I’m going to be welcomed, I’ll keep coming home early.”
A laugh came out from Merina as she gave another sweet kiss to his cheek before leaning her head on his shoulder. “I love you, my Prince Charming.~”
Kaiba hummed, reaching up with one hand and gently stroking her hair, “And I love you too, my Princess…~”

In real-world time, they’ve known each other 15 years, married for 7. In my head... well, they already have 4 kids XD; time flies by so fast in your imagination haha!

“Of course.” He whispered, surprised at how easily the words came out. Then he looked at her to speak, his voice a bit louder as he repeated, “Of course.”

Second of all, a little back story. So back in 2013, @rollthedxce and I decided to do a Valentine’s Day RP with our two muses because there was chemistry going on between them thanks to our previous two threads “Surprise” and “Chaos Unleashed.” And boy... Our muses fell hard for one another. This scene depicts after our two muses had finally admit to falling each other and shared their first kiss. From there, their relationship (as we dubbed “Flameshipping”) began.
And now, when February 14th comes around in less than a month, it’ll be three years these two have been together. They had their ups, they had their downs, but they always come together stronger than ever. I’m so happy and I’m sure Haylie is happy too for us to finally have art of these two. It’s been a long time coming but now it has happened. I cannot wait to see where our muses relationship would take them into the future
