The City of Gods Presents: Trademark Da Skydiver's NYC Album Release Party w/ Young Roddy, Cannibal Ox & Ken Rebel @ The Studio at Webster Hall on 11/19/13

When Trademark Da Skydiver's highly-anticipated album, Flamingo Barnes 2: Mingo Royale, hits stores on November 19th, Trademark will celebrate with his fans in New York City at The Studio at Webster Hall with an album release party.  The event, which is hosted by Dice The God and sponsored by The City of Gods and iHipHop Distribution, will feature performances by Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Cannibal Ox (performing "The Cold Vein") and Ken Rebel.  Music by DJ Two Three.  Tickets are on sale for $15 and will be available at the door.  Doors open at 10 PM.  The event is ages 19+.

1,000 Pounds" is the second single from Jet Life co-founder, Trademark Da Skydiver's forthcoming album Flamingo Barnes 2: Mingo Royale. "1,000 Pounds" premiered today on AllHipHop. The track features buzzing New York artist, Bodega Bamz, who is currently on tour with Flatbush Zombies and among the numerous guest artists on Trademark's highly-anticipated commercial follow-up to Flamingo Barnes. The album features Dizzy Wright, Domo Genesis of Odd Future, Smoke DZA, Young Roddy, Hardo, and Blizz. Trademark Da Skydiver was recently selected by iTunes as an "Artist to Watch" on the Hip-Hop homepage based on his work with Jet Life and his highly regarded Super Villain series.

Trademark Da Skydiver Presents “Flamingo Barnes 2” Release Date, Cover Art, Track Listing “For a long time, I’ve been wanting to put out this particular type of music. I’m not putting it into any particular category. I just want to do my thing. Just do me, be me and collaborate with whoever I want to collaborate with.  That’s what Mingo Music is and I had to create the Flamingo Barnes persona to get that out of myself,” says Trademark Da Skydiver.

In the Summer of 2012, Trademark Da Skydiver, also known as “Trade” for short, did exactly that.  He created the persona, Flamingo Barnes, to truly find his own independent voice as a recording artist and released his most popular project to date, Flamingo Barnes.  

This is not the first time that Trademark has developed an alternate persona.  In 2009 and 2010, Trademark released three extremely well received mixtapes under the guise, Super Villain.  “Really, I have three bodies of work at this point; my work as Da Skydiver with Jet Life, Super Villain and most recently my work as Flamingo Barnes.  I can truly say that Flamingo Barnes is me.  It’s really who I am.”

Trademark is preparing for the November 19th release of his highly-anticipated album, Flamingo Barnes 2: Mingo Royale.  The album will be released via Trademark’s partnership with iHipHop Distribution, and Trade is currently planning to tour immediately thereafter.  A music video for the album’s first single, “Rite Nah” featuring Dizzy Wright will premiere next week.

Trade is also preparing to launch his own imprint to give other artists a chance to shine and recently signed his first artist named Blizz.  Blizz’s first commercial single, “Cheechn,” which appeared on the A3C Volume 2 compilation in 2012, struck a chord with stoners around the world, surging to over half a million views on YouTube within the first three months of its release.
