On the first single from Family Business, Trademark and Roddy are joined by fellow Louisiana native Kevin Gates as they give listeners some valuable advice – “Don’t F*ck Around,” or “DFA” for short. “DFA” is a smooth banger produced by Wes King featuring remarkable verses from each artist.  Young Roddy told XXL, “It was dope to get back in the lab with my bro Trademark and complete the album Family Business just like the old days and it was real of Kevin Gates to come thru with a verse for the home team. Louisiana's making moves.” Trademark also shared a similar sentiment, remarking, “It was a blessing to be in a position to work with an artist like Kevin Gates, that doesn't happen every day so I appreciate the opportunity. Much respect to him. I talk to Roddy every day, that's my brother since day one but we haven't put out a project together in a minute so I'm excited for us and the people who have been patiently waiting for this.”

TRADEMARK DA SKYDIVER PREPS NEW ALBUM “RETURN OF THE SUPER VILLAIN”

Album release slated for December 2, 2014 Trademark added to Smokers Club Tour

New York, NY – Music distribution company iHipHop has announced today the upcoming album release by New Orleans rapper Trademark Da Skydiver. The new album, titled The Return Of The Super Villain, will be available in physical and digital format, plus a  limited vinyl edition, on December 2, 2014.

Trademark, who is also known to his fans as Super Villain and/or Flamingo Barnes, is a co-founder and member of the hip hop collective Jet Life spearheaded by rapper Curren$y.

Since 2009, Trademark has released the three volumes “Super Villain” series, the EP “Roasted” and two albums under the alias Flamingo Barnes. He has also appeared on multiple projects by Curren$y and Jet Life, as well as tracks by Smoke DZA, Chevy Woods and Fiend.

As he is putting the final touches to the upcoming album, Trademark was invited to join the bill of the Smokers Club Tour along with headliners Redman and Method Man. The tour kicks off on Tuesday October 14 in Providence, RI and wraps on November 26 at the Best Buy Theater in NYC (tour itinerary below.)

Along with the album and tour announcement, Trademark releases today the new track “Keep It 100,” which is attached.  The track was produced by BuddahSPK.

On Tuesday November 19, 2013, Trademark Da Skydiver released his highly-anticipated album, “Flamingo Barnes 2: Mingo Royale.” To celebrate the album’s release, Trademark held a release party at The Studio at Webster Hall in Manhattan. The event which was hosted by Dice The God featured performances by Trademark, Smoke DZA, Young Roddy, Cannibal Ox, Ken Rebel, and G.R.A.M.Z. DJ Two Three held it down on the turntables that evening.
