The other Issue...

This is a touchy subject, and I wasn't sure how to handle it. But God is with me and I know He is in control of everything.

I ask again, that you read fully before responding.

This was literally a month after I had did my first mistake. I was frustrated and I wanted to take my frustration out on something. Unfortunately, I took it out on people. A certain group of people to be exact.

I said things about the l-g-b-t-q community that was very, very un-loving and could have potentially been harmful to some. And from that, I know how it feels to have hurtful things said and targeted towards someone. The fear and trauma that can come from one person's anger can really mess with your head. (To the point of self harm in my case.)

Love can be a confusing thing. And I honestly don't understand it fully myself. But there's something that my God has reminded me of that I completely ignored before.

"But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you," Luke 6:27

Even if I don't understand, or agree with your ways. I should have shown you love none the less. I should have never said those things in anger. I am disappointed in myself for how I handled the situation, and I'm sorry for acting like I had the authority to say those things.

I wasn't trusting Gods plan when I tried to take control of things myself. I don't have the power to change things, He does! His plan is perfect! We can't understand why certain things happen, or why things are the way they are, but I know that everything is in Gods hands, and I'm going to let him lead me, instead of going my own way.

God has also reminded me of this.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

I, am a sinner. I was foolish to think that I had the right to say those things. I am no better than anyone. I can't save myself. Which is why I need Jesus. Not only did He die for the sins I've already done, but also for the ones I haven't done yet. And not just mine, but everybody's sins for all of time!

I can't take forgiveness from anyone. But I still ask if you will forgive me. Because it's all I can do. I apologize for the way I acted, and I'm sorry. I don't want to spread hate anymore. I don't want to spread hurt anymore.

"You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD" Leviticus 19:18

I want to love you as my neighbor. Will you let me love you?
