Fanfic Rec #87 James T. Kirk/Spock (Star Trek) part 6
the infinity in out (alternate) universes by charlietinpants The path from Cadet to Captain was never predicted to be smooth-sailing. Jim navigates the difficulties of a meteoric rise and learns what it means to be a leader, brother, friend and soulmate along the way. On the flip side, from the moment Spock touches Jim, he becomes aware that Jim is t’hy’la, but misinterprets the enduring nature of his loyalty to be platonic. As the depth of their friendship deepens with time, a near-fatal misadventure at the end of their five-year mission drives Spock to re-evaluate the nature of his relationship with Jim and what it means to be t’hy’la. A non-linear narrative on Jim's relationships with his ship, his crew and of course, Spock.
Weekend Lover by ValiantBarnes (Cimila) The one night stand Jim Kirk has with the Vulcan passing through Riverside is a welcome break from the monotony. It's good, very good, but so fucking weird Jim's sure he's never gonna forget it. He's not quite expecting to run into Spock again in San Francisco. A second one night stand turns into a weekend, turns into a lot of weekends, turns into Bones joking that he's living half his week at Spock's apartment. But! But, and this is very important: they're not dating. What also turns out to be important is Spock's job, which Jim never bothered getting the details of. Starfleet Officer and a bartender-slash-bouncer? That's fine. Starfleet Academy Instructor and cadet? ...Less fine.
The Male Vulcan in Mating Season by eagle_of_idiocy (flamingofics) There was a distinct shifting against Kirk’s ass, but he knew better. No, really, he totally knew better, because there was no way that Spock was dry humping him. Or, six places in which Spock tried to make it with Kirk, and the one time and place Kirk finally got the hint and decided to help out.
Submit to love by Cadetwyrm Jim Kirk refuses to bottom, even for Spock during their multiple sexual encounters but the vulcan doesn't seem to mind. He assumes they just share a need for release with no strings attached. That is until a new Klingon developed drug causes him into a sudden heat and Spock is the only one that can give him what he needs. Bones finally points some key facts out and Jim finally does something right for a change.
This known universe and all others that exit by Cadetwyrm Jim gets a rather... interesting message from Spock. He thinks its a fluke but can't help but wish it was for him. It takes the idiot a while to be convinced it actually is.
