this was a really ambitious project for me to tackle because ive never formally made an animatic before! i relied solely on procreate (not the animation app they released, just procreate) and capcut to make this 😅

jan and naces photoshoot means so much to me that i knew i wanted to be more ambitious with my gratitude towards them. about 2 days ago i got the impulsive urge to animate something to Linger by The Cranberries (its just a lovely song thats been resurfacing lately), so in light of recent events, i started making quick thumbnail sketches on the fly:

fun fact, i ended up skipping 2 days of school to work on this 💀 the brainrot is that powerful im afraid

each sequence was basically 3 separate drawings so you can hopefully tell this took me a lot of time 🫠 but i liked how it turned out!! i hope you guys feel the same <3

i dont know if ill ever do another project to this scale again anytime soon, but im hoping to at least practice animating more in the future! despite my back hurting it was really fun to try this out 🌟 lol

also, this wont be the last time im doing anything art related for this photoshoot!! more drawings are definitely coming 😚 (but ill be hella slow cuz i need to catch up on school lol 💀)

thank you!!! i got my grade back a few days ago and i ended up getting only one question wrong out of 52 😅 i always worry a bunch for tests so me spending an hour drawing bleached jere instead of studying killed a little part of my academic soul but it was worth it 💥 ended the year with a culmulative grade of 99% baby ❤️‍🔥
