Shot a little bit of test footage with the Minolta 35-70mm F3.5. Quite a wonderful lens, shame about an average focal range. First 2 shots were shot at F3.5 to show the bokeh, sharpness & flares wide open. The last shot was shot at F5.6 in 1:4 macro mode, which actually gets you very close to the subject at 70mm. Something to keep in mind that there are at least 3 versions of this lens and I think only 1 or 2 have the macro mode. You might have noticed a streak, anamorphic like flare, which kind of looks cool, but it rotates when focus ring is rotated. I find that to be quite distracting but otherwise I'm really likening this lens. Nice, organic image wide open, but sharpens up and becomes much more vibrant at F5.6 or higher f-stop. #Minolta #minoltalens #mdmount #minoltamd #vintagelens #vintagelensesforvideo #legacylens #testvideo #lenstest #oldlens #manuallens #zoomlens #vlfv #flareporn #flares #filmmaker #filmmaking #cinematography
