The café was next. Mike’s café. This one, Caitlyn waited to deliver until after night had fallen and the café’s doors were permanently shut for the night, no lights to be seen. Her previous letter deliveries had gone as well as could be expected, or at least, she hadn’t had any confrontations yet about what she was doing. Though that could change with how she was now sneaking around in the darkened street, with only the glint of a streetlight against Leo’s eyes to urge her out of the shadows and closer to the doors.
Finally, with the ease she wished she’d had with the previous letters, Caitlyn pressed the paper up to the door and sealed it in place with tape. Hopefully Mike would find it in the morning, and hopefully after she was already on her way out of Kalos.

Sorry I can’t say this face to face, but you’re someone who could probably talk me out of anything if you had enough time. I know it’s because you care but I need to do this. I need to leave, get away for a while, and I can’t tell you why. Danny might tell you if you ask him, but don’t push him too much if he doesn’t, alright? All I have to say about that is that I did something awful, and… well, that whole ‘make friends with my estranged brother’ plan just isn’t an option anymore.
But thanks for being around, and being my friend. You were a great help, even beyond that whole drowning situation~ But thank you for that, too. You risked your ass to help me out there, and thank Arceus you didn’t have anything bad come from it. Which means I trust you enough to give you my new number~
Take care of yourself while I’m gone, okay? I mean it. If I hear any news about another blown up building and find out you’re breaking bones left and right I might have to come back early just to smack some sense into you myself!
