My Darling Sweet Bunny Cheeks,

I bet you're making such a delightfully shocked expression as your eyes dance over the contents of this letter. Oh, how I wish I could see it. But I will refrain for the sake of the little surprise I've prepared for you.

Your eyes do not deceive you, my love. As you can see, my handwriting can be legible if I desire to make it so. You must be ecstatic that I am now revealing a little secret I've kept from you all this time. 

Customarily, I opt for making it unreadable. It’s most amusing that way, after all. Not to mention that it would be quite troublesome if everyone could understand my handwriting since I'm involved in sketchy schemes, as you already know, my accomplice for life.

You see, some things must be kept secret. Alas! That's not the case when it comes to my feelings for you, my lovely wife.

No, no. This letter shall serve as a record of the love that I, Clavis Lelouch, hold for you, my dear.

My love, my darling, my ray of sunshine on a rainy day, you've turned my already quite chaotic world upside down and inside out. You've shown me the pleasure of loving someone and being loved in return. You've proven to me time and time again that your love was not like any other. Your love is pure, loyal, true, and everlasting. Your love broke me down and built me up. You've saved me from the wounds of my past, the wounds from my present, and myself.

You've made me the happiest man in Rhodolite and Lelouch together by reciprocating my feelings and welcoming my mischievous self into your life.

You've helped me heal and allowed me to grow at your side as our bond became stronger. You've been incredibly patient with me and supportive. Not even once you've pushed or forced the things I conceal out of me. 

Instead, you've been patient with me, you've created this sort of safe space for me to get comfortable in. And here, I've slowly but steadily opened up to you. I've shown you so many things I wouldn't dream of showing others. You, my darling, work miracles with those lovely hands of yours and your affectionate words.

However, I know you're aware that I haven't shown you all of me. There are facets of myself that I don't even know yet. But I promise you, darling, I will eventually show you all of me and give you my all.

I never thought I'd find the person to whom I'd share everything and yet... one day you came into my life and slowly wormed your way into my heart. Before I could react, I was already too deeply in love with you. And that's when I knew there was no going back.

I don't want us to go back. I want us to continue moving forward together hand in hand.

Would you be so kind as to brighten up my day and grace me with your presence at our manor this evening? I've prepared a little something for you—to celebrate you, your love, and all the things you've done for me.

Spellbound

For: @kippin-art as part of the @flash-exchange

Character(s): Mitsunari, Ieyasu, Masamune, Nobunaga, Mitsuhide, Keiji, and Hideyoshi (sort of)

Prompt(s): Magical Apprenticeship AU, Aggressive Sentient Cookie Man, Teleporting at 2 a.m., and Chinese Zodiac... I kind of went a little wild on the prompts

Word count: 700

Title: Spellbound

Before ‘The Incident,’ weekly meetings of the Azuchi Wizard’s Guild followed a set agenda: social hour, the prior week’s minutes, current projects, and apprentice status reports. In the past, these meetings were smoothly moderated by Hideyoshi, but that was before… The Incident. 

After that, meetings were concerned with one topic: “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Mitsunari?” One could put that to music (in fact, Keiji had done so).

“It’s your turn, Lad.” Masamune addressed Ieyasu and received a green-eyed death glare in response. “We’ve all done it. And survived.” He glanced toward Hideyoshi’s chair. “More or less.”

“Survived? A reminder: Aggressive Sentient Cookie Man.” At Ieyasu’s words, Masamune winced.  

“You must admit that an army of those gingerbread soldiers would be terrifying.” Mitsuhide lounged in a club chair, petting his fox familiar. “His ideas are genius - their execution needs refining.”

In response, Ieyasu flicked his fingers, activating a memory in the scrying mirror:

“Wizard Mitsuhide, sir, I have perfected a teleportation spell!” Mitsunari holds out a paper.

“That would indeed be useful.” Mitsuhide scans the spell… then disappears… reappearing in a strange woman’s bedroom.  “Well, this is most definitely not where I wanted to teleport. Sorry for appearing in your bed at two a.m.”

Supreme Wizard Nobunaga banged the gavel for attention. “A silent teleportation spell is quite useful. Mitsunari is too brilliant to be expelled.”

“Even after… that?” Ieyasu gestured to Hideyoshi’s chair, currently occupied by a monkey.

The monkey-formerly-known-as-Hideyoshi blew a raspberry.

“Bad timing that Mitsunari sneezed while creating a magic calendar. It might wear off… eventually?”  Masamune shrugged. No one knew whether Hideyoshi would return to human form when the Year of the Monkey ended… or become a rooster.

“Everyone agrees, Ieyasu. It’s your turn.” Nobunaga snapped his fingers and Mitsunari’s apprenticeship contract appeared in Ieyasu’s hand.

Ieyasu glared at ‘everyone’ with an expression that clearly said, ‘I hate you all,’ then stalked out.

Outside the door, Mitsunari awaited his fate. Ieyasu sighed. “Don’t stand there. Come on.” Without waiting for a response, he continued walking.

Mitsunari hurried after. “Are you my new master? Thank you very much, Wizard, sir. I look forward to working with you.”

One week later…

“Well, Lad, how is Mitsunari’s apprenticeship going? You’ve been quiet tonight.” Small talk – but true. Ieyasu hadn’t even complained about anything.

Wordlessly, Ieyasu activated the scrying mirror…

Ieyasu plunks a tray of bottles on a lab table. “A refill request from the Government, for Diplomacy Potion. Follow the recipe exactly. Even you cannot screw it up.”

“Thank you very much, sir. I am honored by your faith in me.” Mitsunari bows.

The memory fast forwards to:

“Finished, sir.” Mitsunari brings the filled bottles to Ieyasu.

Ieyasu squints at them. “It looks cloudy.”

“I modified it.”

“How?” Ieyasu uncorks a bottle, releasing a pink cloud. “What did you do?” He takes a step back. The cloud follows. Another step. The cloud follows. Soon Ieyasu is scuttling around the room with the cloud bobbing after him like a cotton candy balloon.

“Some people hate the taste, so I aerosolized it.”

“Make it stop! Help me!”

Mitsunari tries to catch the spellcloud and in the process trips Ieyasu. While they are both tangled in Mitsunari’s robes, the spellcloud zooms up Ieyasu’s nose...

The mirror fades out.

“This would be an easy way to administer poison.” Mitsuhide was already planning the implementation of spellclouds.

“An extremely useful weapon.” Nobunaga nodded. “I’m pleased. Bring him in.”

Ieyasu opened the doors, motioning Mitsunari inside. “Don’t panic, friend. They love your modification. My fellow wizards, announcing the genius apprentice Mitsunari.” Then Ieyasu smiled.

All attention in the room snapped to Ieyasu. That smile was… creepy.

“Lad, how else did you modify the Diplomacy Spell?” Masamune nervously looked from Ieyasu to Mitsunari.

“The effects are strengthened by the delivery method.” Mitsunari played with his glasses.

“Dear me.” Mitsuhide smirked. “So Ieyasu is forced to be pleasant and diplomatic?”

Ieyasu smiled. Then he slapped his hand over his mouth and nodded.

“I brought the bottles with me,” Mitsunari held up a clinking sack. “If anyone wants to try… ah-ah-ACHOO!”

Crash

A cloud of pink smoke rose from the bag.

Meeting adjourned.

A Taste of Bittersweet Memories

(a/n): This is my first time writing for one of my OCs, so this is a HUGE deal for me! I’m super excited! 💜

The festival was in full swing, with vibrant decorations, lively music, and a bustling crowd. Stalls lined the streets, selling various goods and foods. And the cool, night air was filled with laughter and mirthful conversation.

Leon strolled through the streets, relishing the comfort of blending in as a commoner. But soon, his attention was captured by a woman standing by a stall, admiring the beautiful array of hair ornaments on display. As if bewitched by her mystical beauty, he approached her. When he looked closer at her face, everything fell into place like puzzle pieces finally coming together. For a moment, he found himself rooted in place, only able to gawk at her as she continued walking down the busy streets. Regaining composure, he quickly followed her into a less-traveled street, away from the crowds.

“Lorry?”

The woman started and turned around, immediately recognizing the fourth prince’s distinctive voice.

“You…” she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper as her eyes widened in shock.

Leon chuckled, a mix of amusement and disbelief in his amber eyes. "Didn't expect to run into you here, of all places." His tone was light but with an underlying seriousness. "It's been a long time."

"It has," Lorry replied, her voice steadying. "What brings you to the festival?"

"Just enjoying myself," Leon responded with a shrug, trying to keep his cool exterior. But his melancholy eyes told another tale. "And you?"

"Waiting for someone," Lorry answered, her eyes flicking towards the crowd, searching for her loyal servant.

Leon took a few steps closer. In response, she took a few steps back, till her rear was pressed against a wall. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes as he looked at her. 

“All this time, you’ve been right in front of me, but I’ve been too blind to realize.” He gently grabbed a lock of her hair and twirled it around his fingers. It was as silky as he remembered. 

Before she could protest, he spoke again. “Lorry, or should I say, Lorenzo?” He searched his gorgeous eyes for answers and as if finding them, he proceeded. “I’ve always thought there was something familiar about you ever since you arrived at the palace last year,” he said softly, his tone teasing but with a hint of curiosity. "And now I understand why.” Leon let go of Lorenzo’s hair and rested a hand on the wall, caging him in between.

Lorenzo's heart pounded in his chest as he playfully glared up at Leon; he was trapped but not scared. “You always did have a way of finding me, didn’t you, Leon?”

Leon let out an airy snicker, a teasing smile on his lips as he slowly leaned closer to Lorenzo, carefully studying his gem-like eyes. "Fate has a funny way of bringing people together."

Feeling the intensity of Leon’s gaze, Lorenzo struggled to keep his composure, cheeks burning at their closeness. “You always did have a way with words, Leon,” he murmured.

Leon softened his gaze, his voice sincere, “And you always manage to surprise me.” He grinned, breathing deeply. “Mm. That smell brings back memories. Do your lips taste the same way they did back then?” he whispered, gradually closing the gap between them.

Leon’s beguiling eyes were the last thing Lorenzo saw before their lips met. The kiss was soft and tentative, filled with the innocence of their past. Leon gently cupped Lorenzo’s cheek as the kiss became more passionate. It was as if he was trying to reclaim what he had lost all those years ago; his identity, and his heart.

 "You should’ve told me it was you." There was a hint of sorrow in Leon’s gaze.

Before Lorenzo could muster an answer, Marco arrived. The young soldier’s eyes widened in shock. Stammering an apology, Marco lowered his head trying to hide his embarrassment. "Mast—Mistress, it’s time we left."

Leon pulled away, his charismatic smile returning. "Goodbye, Lorry," he said quietly, his lips stained with the red balm Lorenzo was wearing. Before disappearing into the crowd, Leon playfully ruffled Marco’s hair, as usual.

Marco remained quiet, knowing it was not the time or place to question his master's affairs with the prince.

Like the First Time

Clavis’s deft fingers waltzed around the ebony and ivory keys of his organ with such precision as he played that it took your breath away. You could listen to him play for hours. The look of complete concentration on his handsome face and his relaxed yet graceful posture never failed to mesmerize you. He was the epitome of beauty and finesse.

“A vampire playing Toccata and Fugue on Halloween’s Night? Such a cliché.”

He turned on his seat to face you. “Ah, my lovely lover, why must you tease me so?”

“To love you is to tease you, lovely,” you joked, walking towards him.

“Hm, love is so cruel,” he whined.

You chuckled as he lifted your hand to bring it to his lips. He sowed a path of sugary smooches along your arm until he reached your neck.

“May I have a taste of you, my sweet, sweet lover?”

“How am I to deny you when you ask so sweetly, Cariño?”

“Oh, you wicked creature. You know what it does to me when you speak in Spanish.”

“Hm, lo decís como si no te gustara, mi vida.”

“Hahaha. You know I love it, and you use it against me.” He heaved a dramatic sigh, staring at you with puppy-dog eyes. “Poor old me..." An impish smirk quickly crept upon his visage, his golden eyes shining with mischief. “What am I to do with you?”

“I have a few suggestions.”

“Of course you do, darling.” He stood up swiftly and placed his hands on your waist before twirling you in place.

You giggled as you landed right on his chest. His eyes reflected the adoration he had for you. Gently, he pressed his lips to yours, letting his fangs nibble your lower lip before he pulled away only to pepper kisses down your jaw to the crook between your neck and shoulder: your Achilles’ heel.

He kissed that spot and grazed his fangs over the skin, making you crave more.

“Clavis,” you said, letting out a shuddering breath.

“Deary me, aren’t we eager?”

“Don’t make me beg.” You pout.

“Ah, but I love it when you beg.”

“You’re so cruel, Clavis Lelouch.”

“Hahaha. I may be cruel, but so are you, darling.”

“Supongo que tenés razón.”

“Cruel and evil..."

He sank his fangs into your delicate flesh and fed on you, grunting and moaning lowly as he delighted in the divine taste of your exquisite blood. Blood was his sustenance, what he needed to keep on living, and you offered it to him as if it were nothing. But to him, it meant everything. You were his world, and he was forever a mirthful slave of your affections.

“Love of my life," he whispered before letting his tongue caress the punctures he made on your skin.

The wound healed in the blink of an eye, only to be replaced by a leopard insignia, Clavis’s mark, which symbolized that you were his and his alone.

You looked into his eyes, cheeks flushed and eyes hazy with lust. He chuckled, knowing exactly what you were aching for. With dexterous digits, he hurriedly unfastened his cravat as you brushed his long locks of purple hair away from his neck.

He wasn’t sure what he enjoyed more, feeding from you or feeding you his own blood. Both felt equally exhilarating.

He bared his neck to you, ready to feel your fangs sink delightfully into his eager skin. “Go ahead, dear. Feast on me.”

You tenderly grabbed him by the chin, making him gaze into your loving eyes. “Who’s the eager one now, mi amor?”

Your words and the intensity of your gaze made him go weak at the knee, and he took an involuntary step back, his rear bumping against the keys of the organ, creating a dissonant sound.

“Nervous?”

His cheeks tinted red as you chuckled. “Haha. Darling, it’s not the first time.” Indeed, it wasn’t, but you made him feel like it was.

“Don’t worry, Lulu. I’ll be gentle,” you cooed against the skin of his neck before gingerly piercing it, earning a wanton moan from your lover as his hands gripped your clothes tightly, his knuckles turning white as you fed.

Translation:

Cariño = Honey

Hm, lo decís como si no te gustara, mi vida. = Hm, you say it as if you didn't like it, my life/love.

Supongo que tenés razón = I guess you're right.

Mi amor = My love

Better be Scared

          There's been a rumour going around Azuchi Castle since Lord Mitsuhide was seen wearing spectacles. A rumour that the man himself had spread, and that not only made everyone's blood turn cold but also made them actively avoid the man. Well, everyone except you.           "Hm? What is that about my glasses, little mouse?" The silver-haired man inquired, turning his golden eyes away from the full moon shimmering gently up in the night sky to gaze into your glimmering orbs.           "People are saying that you recently got yourself some mind-reading glasses." Your eyes reflected the curiosity invading your entire being.           His lips quirked up into an amused smirk. "And you believe that?"           "Well… no? I mean, it’s weird that you always know what I’m thinking."           "I neither need a pair of spectacles nor to read your mind to know what is going on in that little head of yours." He gently tapped your forehead with his index finger as he spoke. The sly smirk was still present on his handsome visage. "And these are just regular reading glasses. Nothing else," he admitted, taking them off and putting them away between the folds of his clothes.           "Am I an open book to you?"           "Of course not." Your eyes sparkled for a moment before he continued talking. "You are more interesting than any book I've read, little one." Your facial expressions were so delightful that he could not contain the soft chuckle that slipped past his lips. "It would serve you best to learn how to conceal your emotions, lest you find someone who is not as kind as I."           Kind was the last adjective you would use to describe Mitsuhide Akechi, however, you knew he was right. You let out a dejected sigh, feeling disappointed now that you had confirmed the rumour was just that, a rumour.           Mitsuhide felt a pang in his chest at the sight of your dispirited expression, and before he could stop himself, his hand was giving your head a tender pat. "It's not only your mind that I can read, but also your heart. Or have you forgotten?"           "Forgotten what?" You stared in confusion.           He retrieved his hand and feigned being hurt. "Goodness me, it would seem you did not believe me when I revealed I was a Satori, yet you believed all those absurd tales you’ve heard." He shook his head, frowning slightly. "Make sure you don’t forget about my little secret and keep your distance from me from now on, little mouse." He warned with a vulpine grin that made you shiver.           ‘Is he trying to scare me or something?’ You questioned inwardly.           "You should be scared, (y/n). After all, Satori are said to try to feast on humans if given a chance." There he was reading your mind again, yet this time his words made your skin crawl.           Mitsuhide was acting creepier than ever, and when you heard a rustle in one of the bushes nearby, you let out a squeak, yet your feet remained rooted to the ground.         Mitsuhide, not satisfied by your reaction, hummed. "It would seem that my words have not reached you. Shall I get physical instead?" He mused aloud, gingerly cupping your hand in his before taking it to his lips. He pressed a kiss to your little finger before giving it a gentle nip. "You should run now before it’s too late. I’m not the only Satori living in the castle." A loud screech came from the bushes, and that was enough to spook you away as you scurried back to the safety of your room.           Mitsuhide's golden orbs followed your retreating form, and a delighted smile formed on his face as you disappeared from his sight.           "You’re such a devilish creature, aren’t you, Chimaki?" The small fox let out a sound that resembled a laugh as she came out of her hiding spot. "Do you think that spooked her for good?" The white-furred fox let out a squeak. "You’re right. For some reason, the little seamstress doesn’t give up on me." His melodious chuckle vanished in the vast gardens of the castle. "I suppose that’s part of her charm."
