Mitsuhide's promise sale stories always hit different 💘

(spoilers ahead!)

Like wdym they get sent into the future via spontaneous wormhole again and he spends three years looking for her... and in the meantime manages to sell his story, buy himself an identity, start a successful fashion company, and gets contacts lined up to offer her work bc he knows MC still wants to be independent/work towards her passions... Doesn't victim-blame her and consoles her after getting drugged at some bar she accidentally went to to wait for him (got the address wrong)... despite himself also needing consoling because he thought he'd lost her again and beat himself up over not being able to grab her hand in time and had no idea where she ended up thanks to the wormhole...

And then they both have talks about their future together and it's just so refreshing to see a suitor (especially one known for being shady lol) actually be pretty straightforward/mature with their affection and intentions (even with all his teasing yes), and be allowed to be in a more peaceful setting together too :,)

Devoted to Our Love Event - Mitsuhide Bonus Story

Mitsuhide has become temporarily deaf due to gunshots on the battlefield. When he arrives home, Mai is prepared to assist him and communicate using paper and ink. He can read her expressions of course, but he doesn't always analyze situations rationally when it comes to his partner... 🤭

Cute! Fairly short but interesting idea. Very sweet overall

Mitsuhide joking about (and enjoying) being spoiled is probably my favorite part of this 🤣

What I don't have the screenshots for is a really sweet opening scene where Mai welcomes Mitsuhide back by writing a sign for him congratulating him on his recent victory. She's understandably pretty rattled at what happened to him. Injuries are likely in war, but it spooks her enough that she nervously dotes on him

Despite this, or perhaps to help cheer her up, Mitsuhide insists on going out on a date since he'd promised they'd do it when he got back

Mitsuhide and Mai run into a new merchant in town who says the fabric Mai wanted wasn't in stock yet. She sighs, and Mitsuhide misunderstands thinking the guy was making a pass at her. He realizes he'd misinterpreted once she writes down the actual conversation for him, and admits to feeling ashamed for acting so brashly

It's so cute how he always leaps to her aid without thinking (* ´ ▽ ` *)

Mai gives him a smooch to show she appreciates how he cares, and of course he snarks. There should be an event where we do nothing but spoil him lmao
