TV-free day 194: Talk Like a Pirate Day - free booty from a book loving buccaneer

What can you do to honor the most splendid holiday of the year, September 19th - Talk Like A Pirate Day?  Make milk carton boats with your kids...and read great pirate books.

Jayne's book recommendation for this day?  Victricia Malicia by Carrie Clickard (Flashlight Press 2012).  This sea-faring tongue twister is lots of fun for anybody that likes to read. Victricia Malicia Calamity Barrett may have been born on her family's pirate ship, but this mild-mannered young lady is sick of the sea: she'd much rather be ashore with her nose permanently buried in a book.
