Kikyou stared at the male before taking a sip of tea, hardly shocked at what was in her home. At this point, it was a matter of the identity of the individual. This little town was a hubbub for Shinigami activity. It was natural to see them battling those wretched demons..or appearing as simple high school children.

What she did not count on..was her home being perpetually invaded. Naturally, she was going to blame Hirako-san..but also knew her spiritual prowess also was a beacon. It was far more amusing and entertaining to blame that nosy Shinigami for all these unprompted visits.

“..Are you going to tell me your name ? Or are we going to sit here all day, staring at each other. This is my home, after all. Guests should introduce themselves when they are able.”

There’s a sigh. Perhaps it was rather rude to the host in his continued brooding despite the hospitality, and it wasn’t as if he held any ill will towards Tessai in the slightest. While it wasn’t necessary to be happy and giddy, in this instance, the effort could be taken further.

“Hmm I do apologize Tessai-san I’m simply not really used to such interaction for prolonged periods. If you’ll forgive me I would like to start over.”

The bulky man’s chiseled features seemed to melt, his stern demeanor taking on a softer tone. On reflection, he had been a rather attentive host. He must be reminded that not everyone cared for such overbearing solicitousness. Tessai did hate to see a good spread going unappreciated, but it was clear that there were weightier matters troubling the young reaper, and the apology was warmly received.

“By all means,” he nodded, light glancing off the lenses of his spectacles, at last settling back slightly to give the man a bit more breathing room. “And do feel free to indulge in the wine a bit, even if you are here on official business. It may help fortify your spirits, and it shall be our little secret. Now, how long will you be staying with us?”
