I have this less intensely often, for Flashwing and various species / characters, right?

I remember, shopping in Target when I was who knows how young, and just seeing Flashwing in their Skylanders area and standing there for a second like: 'Wow. That's me' accompanied with this feeling I can barely describe.

After that my internal view of myself was a slightly different version of Flashwing, with slightly different (extra, really) abilities and the ability to shapeshift. It felt right and when I made my little scenerios in my head it felt wrong seeing myself as what I physically looked like, to a point where I really only did it as a curse in my little magic fictional scenerios.

I don't think most of my pretending to be animals in games as a kid were signs I was alterhuman, it was the comfort I felt in the fact that I was able to have that outlet. I think that's what a lot of those in this community mean when they say pretending they were animals was 'a sign', but that's not the point of this post.

Anyways, for years I kind of felt I wasn't human but, like everything else, couldn't exactly describe what I was feeling. Funny enough, around when I discovered I was LGBT I didn't really feel like flashwing anymore (which I believe to be related to my hormonal imbalance going INSANE around then and knocking the fem out of me, another post on that another time). Then i recently got smacked in the face again, it's like my Clara and Flashwing fictotypes fight for dominance as my main fem kintypes lol.

Today, I drew this art for my Skylanders AU (TW cartoon blood / gore. gore less so):
