Alex's residence was much more what I would expect for one of Bond's partners it was posh without being showy. the flat's interior was modern and sparsely decorated and the building faced onto a huge and beautiful park.
Being nosy I had a poke around there were little signs everywhere, I asked Bond if he's was one of us and a strange almost murderous look passed across his face.
On a desk, I found a picture that had such an air of intimacy to it the darker man looked familiar sort of like our Quartermaster. I put it back It was starting to feel weird so after that i just kept my mouth shut.
Q's monitoring FlatBond's whereabouts very closely-- he's on the move again, making his way to the next checkpoint in his mission... Q's just hoping he doesn't blow anything up during his 6-hour layover in Geneva.
Flat Bond is on his way! He’ll be shipping out tomorrow, so he spent some quality time with Flat Q today - as well as meeting up with some friends in a familiar spot!
Flat Q will be monitoring Flat Bond’s mission from headquarters as he makes his way around the world!

On his recent visit Bond asked to track down his other partners Danny and Alex. Where they lived couldn’t have been more different.
Danny's flat was in what might have been a nice block if it wasn’t slap bang on a very busy main road. The flat itself was a dump it looked like someone was making a half arsed attempt at decorating. The whole place had strangely lived in but strangely vacant feel that set my teeth on edge a bit.
From what Bond divulged Danny sounded like a real character nothing like I'd expected for one of Bond’s lovers. I mean he has a bit of a reputation, doesn't he.
This place was part slum, part hippy commune, part paradise, part Queer enclave. the local pub is the Royal Vauxhall Tavern FFS and Chariots bathhouse wasn’t far away either. The surrounding area, however, was also green and cared for there's was even a little co-operative cafe down the road with a free Palestine poster in the window.
I couldn't work it out. Bond, however, spoke about Danny with such fondness I think the poor bugger misses him I never expected to see that side of an old battleship of an agent like him.

Our next stop was Mi6s temporary offices. Who would have guessed it lies beneath one of Londons biggest stations.
We banged on the door and searched for the keypad on the old entrance but it seemed nobody was there. Further investigations found that it too had been abandoned and of all things has been turned into a theatre and creative space.
What the hell is going on !?!
Who knew Mi6 and Q had so many workshops and safe houses in London many are cunningly disguised.
This one beneath Smithfields Market is cavernous but most of it seemed to be abandoned and turned unto a civilian car park
The truly eagle eyed Londoners amongst you might realise that Yes, that is right next to Bart’s Hospital and directly underneath where Sherlock Holmes plunged to his fake death. Which makes me wonder if Q and Mi6 had a hand in it. Bond was tight lipped on the matter
The Adventures of Flat Bond and his Traveling Aston Martin!
A while back, the idea of taking inspiration from Flat Stanley projects and creating a Flat Bond to mail around the world came up in the 00Q chat, and thanks to collaboration between @castillon02 and @mi6-cafe, @1amvengeance, and @timetospy, Flat Bond is now ready to start his journey!
The idea of Flat Bond is that he and his Aston will be mailed in an envelope from one friend around the world to the next! If you sign up, he should eventually make his way to you, and then you can send him onward. Flat Bond will take the first step of his trip around the world on June 1st, 2017, so get your sign-ups in!
HOW TO SIGN UP:
1) You can fill out THIS FORM! This includes giving the Flat Bond organizers access to a name (note: it does not have to be your real name) and mailing address (it DOES have to be a real mailing address or PO Box) via google form. Other than the organizers, the name and address you give will only ever be revealed to one person--the person who is mailing you Flat Bond!
If you do not feel comfortable putting that info into a google form but you still want to participate, message @castillon02 to do it over email ^ ^
2) Since this is a physical mail project, there are some minor shipping fees involved! We hope to keep Flat Bond’s expenses down to just one stamp. While signing up, we’ll ask whether you would rather mail Flat Bond domestically only (cheaper!) or if you’re comfortable getting him an international stamp (a little pricier, but should still be less than two dollars in the USA, for example). This way we can work with your budget while we’re organizing who sends Bond where!
3) We will also ask whether you would feel comfortable donating a stamp! If there is anyone who wants to participate but doesn’t have the financial means, you can fill out the form and let us know. We will contact potential stamp donors and organize things so they can send a stamp along with Bond to you!
Once we’re armed with all the addresses and info, the Flat Bond organizers will figure out Flat Bond’s journey across the world!
What can you do with Bond when you get him?
Anything you like, provided you don’t break him!
At minimum, please post a pic of Flat Bond in your location (tag #flatbond and/or @flatbond) so we know he’s arrived safely and can add your city or country to the map of where Flat Bond has been!
Can you give Bond a souvenir?
Yes! As long as it’s 1) small, and 2) flat and made of paper, we encourage you to include souvenirs if you like. The main thing is to keep the weight reasonable so people don’t have to buy more than one stamp to send him on and we can keep this as inclusive as possible. (You’re flying budget class, 007!)
Who made Flat Bond?
We have the wonderful @1amvengeance/Venstar to thank for our Flat Bond and his magnificent Travelling Aston! Thank you, Venstar! <333
