A company called FlatFrog introduces its Multitouch 3200, a high-end multitouch screen primarily designed for the professional market as well as high-end residential customers. The 32-inch screen features an advanced optical in-glass multi-touch technology (PSD) developed and patented by FlatFrog Laboratories. With 400+ DPI accuracy and very low jitter, the screen offers constant and reliable touch output.
The technology works like this – light is injected inside the top glass pane and scatters wherever the top surface is touched. This scattering effect is detected, and positions of several simultaneous touches are determined. According to the company, the screen is able to track 40 simultaneous touches at sub pixel accuracy, and can be used with gloves and pens. The Multitouch 3200 is based on A-MAV LCD technology and features LED-backlight, 1920×1080 resolution, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 400cd/m2 brightness, 6.5ms response time and 178/178-degree wide viewing angle. It has a strong glass surface and measures just 55mm in depth.
The FlatFrog Multitouch 3200 is compatible with Windows 7 and upcoming Windows 8 and Mac OS X. It has DVI, USB, and Ethernet connectors. The screen is priced at US$5996 and is now shipping in Europe. FlatForg is planning to release the screen in the US and Asia in Autumn.

I'm not sure if I have any uses for this, besides making it a conversation piece.
Practicality aside, this looks to be a nicely made table with an awesome multi-touch 32" 1080P display. This will probably cost a FEW pretty pennies.
